I wanted to do something really special for my son’s 8th Birthday party. Something more than the usual car cake and games for the boys. I wanted to make it as memorable for him as I could make it, especially because his father was going to be out of town!
I heard of Jump! Zone and decided to drop in and visit. I loved it! It was a great way to keep the kids engaged without worrying about interactive games to keep them occupied. The CARS inflated landslide was such a hit with the young boys it was unbelievable!
It meant lesser tasks for me too. No house full of kids no cleaning up after them. And the delighted shrieks of the boys as they jumped up and down was so rewarding.
Pizzas and batman and a satisfied five year old. What else could a mother ask for? My son who is crazy about Batman or the Dark Knight or whatever else he is called these days, did not want to leave Jump!Zone after seeing the larger than life inflated version of him! He loved it. He kept insisting I ought to click more and more pictures of him with the HUGE Batman! How could I refuse? So naturally I have an album full of pictures of my Son’s Batman -Bday!
As a working mother I can only appreciate the convenience up dumping seven toddlers for a bday party at Jump! Zone. Did my three year old Carla get bored? Far from it! She was having a perfectly ‘princess’ time with her Disney characters as she bumped around with them on the inflatables in Sesame Street. I even taught her to stand in front of the cute entrance and shout ‘Open Sesame’ before tumbling her way inside! She was so happy for a couple of hours and so exhausted that she slept in the car all the way back home.
When I told Josh he was having a Nemo birthday party he went wild with excitement. Nemo has had a special place in his heart ever since we watched the film. Last birthday he even got a clown fish and called him Nemo. So when we entered Jump!Zone and saw the nemo club house you should have seen the look of absolute wonder on Josh’s face. It was like he had woken up in a dream. He forgot all about me and rushed into the 3D club house to spend time jumping and bouncing around with Nemo. Thanks Jump!Zone for giving him this crazy yet wonderful birhtday!
Women think it’s easy for fathers to raise their daughters. The truth is they don’t have the slightest clue. When I planned Carrie’s sixth birthday party at Jump! Zone everybody thought I was mad. What would a girl do with inflated slides and hurdle races? I was so beside myself with anxiety when I landed with eleven little girls in a room filled with inflatable slides. I was so relieved when she grabbed my hand and screamed, “Poppeeeee looooookkkk Nemo!” When we did not hear from the girls for over an hour, not even so much as a “Look I am having so much fun” call, I knew I had made the right choice. The girls were so busy fussing over nemo or giggling down the slides that they forgot about everything - even the pizzas waiting for them in the party room.
How do you celebrate an eight year old’s party who think he is too ‘grown up’ to waste time ‘ fooling around in the back yard’? Here is a suggestion you take him and his friends to Jump! Zone and make a contest out of making the quickest exit on the adrenaline II inflatable slides. Trust me, there is nothing more occupying than bouncing around trying to hold your balance as you figure your way to the exit. No matter what age they are boys always love the slides and good healthy competition!
I wish I could show you little Mia’s pictures as she ran to kiss every Disney character along sesame street. It was hilarious. And it was worth making a video of her and her three toddler friends bouncing around and bumping into all the odd Disney characters. At the end of the hour they did not want to come out. The only way to shut those shrieking girls was the pizza and drinks waiting in the party room. Now Mia wants to have a birthday every Saturday!
“Dude! Have you ever walked through Dinosaur teeth?” Max nudged pointing to the two inflatable teeth jutting out and I had a hard time resisting my laughter. It was his birthday and at six he wanted to act all grown up. He made a big deal out of walking through Dinosaur teeth and made up stories about how they landed up there and how years of just lying around had made them soft. And watching the boys pretend they were knights in some forgotten fantasy fiction trying to scale volcanoes and slay the villains was worth the hour spent at Jump! Zone. What a birthday treat it turned out to be.
I loved the idea of my twins celebrating their fourth birthday at Jump! Zone. It meant a lot of sliding and lot of jumping and lot of bouncing around and I did not have to worry about anybody falling and getting hurt or running around to protect their tender heads from hard edges of a slide or something. An hour of letting your kids go so they can have absolute fun on their birthday is the best thing to happen to any mother
It was the best party we could dream of for little Ryan! He was so happy that all his friends enjoyed themselves. There were so many different slides to play with that the kids just didn’t stop jumping around. And the best part, it’s so safe that you don’t have to worry about anyone getting hurt.
The “Jump zone” can leave any kid awestruck, not knowing where to start, when to end and what all to play with. The fun is just endless.
